• THE BUZZ: Harvey Weinstein imported this French box-office sensation while he was busy shaping The Artist’s Oscar campaign. We’ve read some brutal reviews, dismissing the movie as racist and revealing that the true story upon which the film is based saw an Arab man taking care of the white nobleman. So expect some in-depth analysis from your favorite critics and bloggers while we wait to see if it becomes an issue-film or a non-event Stateside. I’m particularly interested to see how this plays with art-house audiences, who loved Omar Sy in Micmacs and François Cluzet in Tell No One.
